She has over 17 years of nursing experience in Neurology, Palliative Care, Internal Medicine, and Family Medicine.

Elite Family Medicine welcomed Mrs. Elkins in May 2019. She works alongside Dr. Allen Whitten as his Nurse Practitioner.

Mrs. Elkins is married with a son and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

In 1990, Dr. Kosobucki obtained his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Augusta College in Augusta, Georgia, and went on to obtain his Medical Degree in 1995 from the Medical College of Georgia located in Augusta.

In 1998, Dr. Kosobucki joined Columbus Regional Family Practice where he remained until 2002. In 2002, he opened Kosobucki Family Medicine and in 2014 joined Horizons Diagnostics, L.L.C.

In late 2018, Dr. Kosobucki decided to form Elite Family Medicine with his prior partner and long-time friend W. Allen Whitten, M.D. Dr. Whitten and Dr. Kosobucki opened Elite Family Medicine in 2019.

Elite Family Medicine partners with Concierge Medicine of Columbus, Inc. which includes Dr. Ronald M. Hudson, M.D. and Dr. Linda Jill Moore, M.D.

Dr. Kosobucki is happily married with 3 boys and he enjoys hunting as well as spending quality time with family.

Dr. Whitten went to CSU and the University of Georgia in 1989. After graduating from UGA and obtaining his BSA, Dr. Whitten received his Masters of Science and his Medical Degree from the American University of the Caribbean in 1990 and 1993.

Dr. Whitten completed his internship and residency at the Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia. He joined Horizons Diagnostics, L.L.C. in 1996 and in 2019 opened Elite Family Medicine with fellow partner Daniel Kosobucki.

Dr. Whitten has served as Chairman of Family Practice and on the Medical Executive Committee at St. Francis Hospital. He is a member of the Muscogee County Medical Society, Medical Associates of Georgia, and the American Academy of Family Practice.

Dr. Whitten is happily married with 2 children. He enjoys hunting and spending quality time with family.

LaDonna furthered her nursing career by obtaining her Masters in Nursing from Kennesaw State University in 2001.

Mrs. Ledford practiced medicine with Ronald Hudson, M.D. for 12 years prior to joining the medical practice of Dr. Daniel E. Kosobucki, M.D. in April of 2015. In 2019, she relocated her practice with Dr. Kosobucki, M.D. to Elite Family Medicine.

She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Mrs. Ledford is happily married and enjoys Auburn football and camping.

Born in Newnan, Georgia, and raised in Waynesboro, Georgia, he completed his High School education, then later his Bachelor of Science degree at Augusta State University from 1997-2000.
Dr. Jenkins also studied his medical degree in Augusta at the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine from 2002-2006.
Prior to joining Elite Family Medicine in March of 2021, Dr. Jenkins worked for Horizons Diagnostics, Upson Family Physicians, LLC, and Self Regional Healthcare. In his free time, Dr. Jenkins enjoys cooking, camping, and spending time with family.

She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and has a background in gastrointestinal disorders. Macey is happily married and enjoys photography, traveling, and hiking in her spare time.

Alicia then completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Auburn University in 2018. Prior to joining our practice, Mrs. Morris worked with Columbus Clinic. Elite Family Medicine welcomed Mrs. Morris in 2023, and she works alongside Dr. Ampiaw as her Nurse Practitioner.

She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Columbus State University then went on to obtain her MSN/FNP from Troy University. She has a diverse nursing career to include medical surgical nursing, critical care nursing, clinical research for various disease states including HIV/Infectious Disease, Oncology, and most recently patient education as a clinical educator for respiratory diseases such as COPD and Interstitial Lung disease.
Mrs. Whitten is married and has two children. She enjoys spending time with family, fishing, and relaxing in the sun.

She later went onto obtain her Bachelor of Arts degree with a Biochemistry and History double major from Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA from 1985-1989. She then completed her medical degree at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA from 1989-1993 and went on to complete her residency there as well from 1993-1996. Dr. Ampiaw is an active member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, Muscogee County Medical Society, and the Medical Association of Georgia. Prior to joining Elite Family Medicine in January of 2022, Dr. Ampiaw worked for Columbus Clinic for over twenty years.

Dr. Howard graduated from Auburn University in 1989 as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). In 1994, Dr. Howard received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She went on to complete her residency at Duke University from 1994 to 1995. Before joining our team, Dr. Howard worked in Columbus for over 20 years. Dr. Howard joined Reveal Breast Imaging in March of 2022 as our onsite Board-Certified Breast Radiologist.

Born in Leon, Nicaragua, and raised in Shoreline, Washington, she completed her High School degree, and later her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Washington from 1991 to 1995. She studied her medical career in San Jose, Costa Rica at Escuela Autonoma de Ciencias Medicas de Centro America from 1996 to 2001.
Prior to joining our practice, Dr. Bendana worked for Columbus Regional Medical Center, Columbus Clinic PC/Saint Francis Hospital and Martin Army Community Hospital over the last 13 years. Dr. Bendana is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine and is also fluent in Spanish and English languages.

He then became an intern in the OGBYN Department of the U.S. Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland from 1984-1985. He also completed his residency from at the same hospital from 1985-1988. Dr. Dorchak went on to become a Staff Obstetrician-Gynecologist there from 1988-1990. Before joining Elite Gynecology, Dr. Dorchak had his own private practice in Columbus from 1999-2014, and then worked for Piedmont Healthcare System as a Uro-Gynecologist until 2023. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Barbara, fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Dr. Dorchak will begin accepting patients on September 1st, 2024.

After high school, she went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Columbus State University in 1993 and worked as an RN for over 28 years. After raising her children, she decided to further her nursing career and graduated with her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner in 2022 from CSU. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Before joining Elite Gynecology, Jennifer has worked with the Geogia Department of Health, as well as MercyMed of Columbus. Jennifer is happily married and has two grown children. In her free time, she enjoys cooking for her family, going to the beach, walking her dog, reading, and traveling.
